Below are a few of our most common questions. If you can’t find yours here, just ask!

What type of massage should I book?

Don’t get too caught up deciding which type of massage to book. Any session will include a customized, therapeutic massage to focus on your goals.

We recommend that new clients read our therapist bios and reviews to help them decide how to book.

You’re also welcome to contact us and share a little bit about your specific situation. We’ll be happy to share our thoughts on matching you with an appropriate therapist.

What conditions do you treat?

While the vast majority of our clients come to us for relief from back, neck, and hip pain, we also treat people for sciatic pain, knee pain, headaches, thoracic outlet syndrome, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, golfers elbow, and tennis elbow. If you’re curious about whether or not we can help, just ask.

Do you accept health insurance?

Sorry, but we do not accept health insurance or Medicaid at this time. Please let us know if you need a receipt for reimbursement.

However, there are some instances where you may be able to receive full reimbursement or partial payment assistance through other forms of insurance.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, major credit/debit cards, and gift cards. We do not accept insurance, Medicaid, or Venmo.

How much time should I book?

The short answer is “it depends”.

It depends on the nature of your problem, how long you’ve been in pain, how long it’s been since your last treatment, if you’re receiving other therapies, etc. Longer sessions are generally better because they provide your body time to relax, allowing for more thorough work. However, shorter treatments can still be very beneficial.

Most new clients schedule an initial visit of 90 minutes. After an initial visit, we can recommend a treatment plan based on our assessment.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

Nope. Just schedule a session at your own convenience.

However, for third-party reimbursements, you may need a Letter of Medical Necessity from a doctor. Check with your plan administrator for details.

Do you offer mobile massage?

Sorry, but we only provide massage therapy at our studio.

Do you have hypoallergenic products?

Yes. We have hypoallergenic lotion that is unscented and contains no drying alcohol, mineral oil, nut oils, or fragrance. The sheets are also laundered with natural, skin-sensitive detergent. If you have a concern about a specific allergen, please contact us before your appointment.
